Whenever I didn’t get something, it was because I didn’t try hard enough, or I didn’t want it enough. But this is different. I’ve done everything in my power to keep you. But I have no control over anything anymore. Things happen. People change their minds. It just sucks a whole lot to suddenly look at someone, and the light is gone from their eyes. And it’s sad. Because you realize you’ll never see them looking at you that way ever again.
